These terms govern your use of the Thumbrix website and creative tools. Thumbrix is operated by an individual based in mainland China. Contact contact@thumbrix.com with questions about the service or these terms.
By using Thumbrix, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. How we process information is explained in our Privacy Policy. 中文版.
Eligibility and accounts
You must have the legal capacity to agree to these terms. If you require a parent or guardian's permission under applicable law, obtain it before using the service. Thumbrix is not directed to children below the minimum age described in our Privacy Policy. If you act for another person or organization, you must have authority to do so.
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and any access keys, and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for your authorized use of the account; this does not remove protections applicable to unauthorized transactions. Do not create accounts or reset browser identifiers to bypass free-use limits.
What Thumbrix provides
Thumbrix helps you plan, generate, edit and compare thumbnails and save projects. Public-video research tools help you inspect available channel and video information. Features can depend on your account, available credits, provider availability and the limits shown in the product.
AI assessments and research indicators are decision aids. They are not verified predictions of clicks, views, ranking, revenue or audience response. A thumbnail score does not measure your actual YouTube click-through rate. You remain responsible for deciding what to publish.
Purchases and credits
Thumbrix offers one-time credit packs and monthly plans. The checkout identifies the product, price, currency, credits and applicable payment conditions before you pay. The payment provider shown at checkout processes your payment.
- Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. Credits from packs bought on or after 7 October 2026 are valid for one year from purchase; credits from earlier purchases do not expire.
- Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled. Each month's plan credits are valid for 90 days from the date they are granted. You can cancel in Settings → Billing; the plan stays active until the end of the paid billing period.
- New accounts receive 20 credits once; these do not expire.
Credits have no cash value; they are used within Thumbrix rather than as money.

Multiple-image operations charge each image; review the total shown before confirming.
2K and 4K generation, generating several versions at once and private Minecraft generations are included in monthly plans. Packs bought before 7 October 2026 keep 2K and 4K generation and private Minecraft generations. We may revise prices or allowances for future purchases or operations with appropriate notice; this does not retroactively change the amount paid or credits granted for an existing order.
Failed operations and refund requests
When an operation is recorded as failed, the service returns the credits or free use reserved for that failed operation. For a group of operations, a failed item can be refunded separately from successful items. This is a restoration of your service balance, not a refund of the original payment to your bank or payment account.
If an operation remains stuck, a charge is duplicated, your purchase is missing, or you want to request a payment refund, email contact@thumbrix.com with your account email, order or task identifier and a description of the issue. Do not include full payment-card details. We will investigate the records and explain the available remedy, taking account of the issue, usage and applicable law.
A completed AI result may differ from your expectations; that alone does not mean the operation was technically unsuccessful. This does not limit remedies for a defective or misdescribed service. Mandatory cancellation, refund and consumer rights remain applicable. These terms do not create a blanket exclusion of refunds or waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Your inputs and permission to process them
You retain the rights you hold in prompts, images, videos and other material you submit. You give Thumbrix the limited permission needed to receive, store, reproduce, transform and transmit that material to provide the features you request, including processing through relevant service providers. This permission does not transfer ownership of your inputs to Thumbrix.
You must have the necessary copyright, privacy, publicity and other permissions for your inputs and intended use. This applies to reference thumbnails, logos, photographs, uploaded videos and content accessible through a public URL. Public availability is not permission to copy or reuse someone else's work.
Use only face images you are entitled to submit and process. Do not use another person's likeness for deceptive impersonation, non-consensual intimate material, harassment or other unlawful purposes. Permission to process an image does not necessarily include permission to publish it or use it in advertising.
AI outputs and commercial use
Thumbrix does not claim ownership of your generated outputs merely because you used the service. Subject to applicable law, relevant provider terms and third-party rights, you may use your eligible downloaded results for personal or commercial projects.
AI output may not be unique, copyrightable, accurate or free of third-party rights. Similar outputs may be generated for other users. We do not guarantee exclusive rights, trademark clearance or that a reference-based result is sufficiently different from its source. A payment buys the stated service and access, not clearance of third-party rights.
Review output before publication, including depicted people, text, brands and factual claims. You are responsible for how you use and distribute it. Do not represent a Thumbrix score, generated image or analysis as an endorsement from YouTube or another platform.
Templates, projects and public galleries
Templates and reference styles are tools for creating your own work. They do not grant ownership of third-party source material or permission to redistribute the service's template collection. Your use of other people's content remains subject to the rights described above.
Saved projects and files are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Keep your own copies of important work.
New Minecraft generations are public by default. By submitting a public generation, you permit Thumbrix to display its final image and prompt in the curated gallery and let visitors reuse the prompt for their own generations. Uploaded reference files are not included in that publication permission. Eligible paid users can select private before submitting. Private work and historical YouTube and Roblox generations are excluded. Selection for the gallery is not guaranteed. Contact us to request removal of featured work. Thumbrix is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
YouTube data
Thumbrix uses YouTube API Services. By using its API-based features, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. See the Google Privacy Policy for relevant data practices.
Public statistics can be delayed, rounded, unavailable or changed by the source. A Thumbrix comparison or outlier indicator, where available, is our calculation under its displayed methodology, not an official YouTube metric or a guarantee of performance. Availability of features can depend on applicable API permissions, quotas and policies.
Viewing a creator's statistics or thumbnail does not authorize copying their content. Thumbrix is independent and is not endorsed by YouTube.
Acceptable use
Do not use Thumbrix to:
- Violate applicable law, intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Produce or distribute unlawful sexual content, child sexual abuse material, threats, harassment or deceptive impersonation.
- Upload malware, steal accounts, bypass access controls or interfere with other users' data.
- Evade payment or trial limits, falsify purchases or refunds, or automate abusive traffic.
- Misrepresent ownership, permission, identity or a platform's endorsement.
We may reject content or restrict operations that breach these terms or applicable provider requirements. This does not mean we review or approve every output.
Third-party services and availability
Thumbrix depends on infrastructure, payment, authentication and AI providers. Outages, safety filters, quota limits or changes to those services can delay or prevent an operation. We may maintain, update or change features, and will provide notice of material changes where appropriate or legally required.
Third-party websites and services have their own terms. We do not control their availability or content. Limitations involving a provider do not remove Thumbrix's obligations to you under applicable law, including any applicable remedy for a paid service we cannot supply.
Suspension and ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time and contact us to request account closure or deletion. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address material misuse, fraud, a security risk or a legal obligation. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us about a mistake; urgent protective action may occur first.
Account closure does not automatically erase records that must be retained for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Treatment of pending tasks, unused purchased credits and any payment refund will depend on the circumstances and applicable rights; these terms do not provide for automatic forfeiture of every balance on closure.
Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the service is supplied on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free output or a particular commercial result. You should assess the suitability of outputs and keep copies of work you need.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or your mandatory consumer rights. We remain responsible for obligations that applicable law places on us.
Applicable law and disputes
The laws applicable to these terms and any dispute are determined under applicable legal rules, including mandatory consumer protections. The operator is based in mainland China; using a Hong Kong payment account does not by itself make Hong Kong law exclusively applicable.
If an issue arises, contact contact@thumbrix.com so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from exercising applicable complaint rights or bringing a claim before a competent court. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or waive rights to remedies available under applicable law.
Changes and contact
We will update the date on this page when these terms change. Material changes will receive additional notice or consent where required by law. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to completed purchases. Continued use after a change takes effect signifies acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.
